As part of Exponential’s expansion plans, Managing Director, John Moore visited potential Exponential partners. First stop was Vilnius, Lithuania which was blanketed in freezing snow. John said, “It was so cold even in my hotel room that I wore my socks and jumper in bed something I’ve not done since I was a little boy”.
John met with ?? from the Lithuania Development Agency to discuss if there was a need for the development of high growth specialist coaches in Lithuania. Next stop was Warsaw, Poland and a meeting with ? in the airport. Despite having lots in common and agreeing there was a need to develop business coaches, John and Christof agreed it was not the right solution for Poland.
The final stop was the Slovene capital Ljubljana. John’s first meeting in Slovenia was with ?? Slovenian Chamber of Commerce. They discussed the need for the development of high growth coaches and agree to work together in submitting a Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of innovation project application. After this successful meeting, John took some time out to experience the beautiful city centre tourist area.
Before leaving Slovenia, John had another meeting, this time with Valerija ?? from HR specialists KADIS. It resulted in an agreement to work on another project application this time resulting in the translation and adaptation of Perspectives 360 for use in Slovenia.
On returning to the UK, John said, “What an experience – meeting so many different people, experiencing three different cultures and cuisines in less than one week. Am I complaining no because I truly believe we have the basis of a really good partnership which will provide a springboard for Exponential’s expansion into Europe”.
