Over 800 Students Graduated in Durban on a Night of Celebration Topped Off by an Address by the President of the Republic of South Africa, Jacob Zuma.
Speaking about his own personal troubles and journey, President Zuma made a real connection with the lecturers and officials sang and chanted President Zuma’s name in an amazing carnival atmosphere.
Ivor Blumenthal, Chief Executive of the Services Sector Education Authority (SSETA) also delivered a truly motivating speech in which he welcomed the graduates to the Services SETA family and set them a challenge: to go out into the world of work and their communities, to make a difference and spread the word of the value of vocational education and training.
To be invited to attend such a prestigious event was a real honour and privilege, said Exponential’s Managing Director, John Moore. “To see what an education means to young people in South Africa makes me even more determined to establish Exponential in South Africa. The level of hospitality, excitement and feeling of national pride especially when the national anthem was sung was something you can only understand if you were there”.
The Exponential team wishes each of the graduates much success and many best wishes for the future.
