From Socrates, Plato and Aristotle to LEXSHA

From Socrates, Plato and Aristotle to LEXSHA
10 July 2014 James Dillon

The great Greek philosophers such as Socrates, Plato & his student Aristotle formulated ideas about how the world worked creating new knowledge, insight & understanding. Now LEXSHA aims to carry this forward into the 21st Century.

I have just returned from the latest European LEXSHA project partner meeting in Athens. The Parthenon provided an inspirational backdrop to the meeting which made me think “What would Aristotle think about the Internet, social media and the different ways we can learn, explore and share knowledge and experience today?”

I think he would marvel at opportunity to connect, exchange and share his knowledge and wisdom with likeminded people around the world. I think he would find ways of making the most of the LEXSHA platform to learn from others with greater knowledge, insight and experience. I think he would be curious and use LEXSHA to resolve his own problems and to help others to resolve their problems.

I think as a pupil of Plato and the tutor of Alexander the Great, he would see the value and potential of linking up with tens of thousands (even millions) of likeminded people. He would see the value of learning from others who have been there before and solved similar problems and challenges and I am sure he would see the value of sharing his knowledge and experience with others to help them to resolve their own problems and challenges.

What he might need though is a little help to enable him to exploit the world of knowledge and experience that is out there in the world. He would benefit from something like the LEXSHA platform – an online platform where business owners, entrepreneurs and managers in micro businesses can come together and learn from each other. I am sure he would seize the opportunity of being able to access a world of experience and insight – all available at the press of one or two buttons on a keyboard.

You would, wouldn’t you?

Later this year, we will be looking to support fifty business owners, managers and entrepreneurs to join the LEXSHA community where you can learn, explore and share ideas and problems with like minded people – people who want short, snappy ideas and answers to help them grow their business.

If you want to be part of this European community, contact us TODAY so I can make sure you do not miss out!
