European Piloting Commences on the New Version of Perspectives 360 Degree Online Assessment System.
Perspectives 360 is a simple and effective 360 degree assessment system designed to benchmark the skills of managers. Already used by organisations in the UK such as Business Link, Perspectives 360 has been further developed ready to support the benchmarking and development of managers across Europe.
Work to develop the Perspectives 360 system commenced last year (2010) and after numerous meetings with Partners in Greece, Slovenia and Ireland the system is now in a position where piloting can start to take place.
Product Manager, James Dillon said, “Initially we are looking to pilot the English version of the system with our Irish Partner, ISM, before moving onto the Lithuanian, Slovenian, Romanian and Greek versions of the tool”.
A lot of work has already gone into redesigning and developing the tool which has been in existence for almost six years. New functionality has been added and existing features improved which means the tool will be even easier to use to set up and administer 360 management skills assessments online. Crucially for this project, the tool will enable those using it to choose any one of the languages above. New languages will also be able to be added easily in the future.
Partners will then use the Perspectives 360 tool to assess the skills of 50 managers in their own countries. Each manager taking part in the piloting will select a number of respondents to contribute to their assessment. The manager and their respondents will then have access to the new tool to complete the online questionnaire which will generate a 360 degree skills report for each manager, including a set of personalised development actions. Managers will then have the opportunity of a one to one feedback meeting with a fully trained P360 facilitator, who will explain the report to them and discuss which of the development actions would help them to improve their performance most.
Collectively, the assessment data will provide a detailed comparative analysis of the skills of managers from the five countries. “We are expecting the skills benchmarking exercise to enable Exponential and our Partners to design a European management development programme” added Michelle Moore, Exponential Training Director.
Partners will pilot Perspectives 360 with SMEs in their respective countries. Piloting is planned to continue until the end of this year (2011) and therefore if you are from an SME based in one of the Partner countries (England, Ireland, Lithuania, Slovenia, Romania or Greece) or have clients that are, then please contact us to express an interest in taking part in the piloting process.
