We all know how difficult the past few years have been for businesses, and especially smaller companies, but now real, practical help is on hand thanks to the launch of the European Commission funded initiative, LEXSHA.
I am always being asked ‘What does LEXSHA stand for?’ It is simply an acronym, short for ‘Learning, EXploring and SHAring. Then I am asked, ‘What is LEXSHA?’
What is LEXSHA?
LEXSHA provides the opportunity for business owners to learn from the success of other business owners. The LEXSHA online portal not only connects businesses, but it provides access to a host of resources and best practices used by other businesses.
I am proud to announce that Exponential Training has played a key part in the development of LEXSHA and is the UK National Partner. This month James Dillon and I are visiting Vilnius, Lithuania to finalise the LEXSHA launch plans with the other seven National Partners. LEXSHA will go live in France, Sweden, Portugal, Lithuania, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
LEXSHA is about helping and supporting owners of smaller businesses to learn, develop and to grow their business. It is about entrepreneurs and business owners coming together and learning from each other and sharing their experience of what works.
Often business owners and entrepreneurs feel alone and isolated. Traditionally they turn to colleges and universities, consultants or business support professionals such as accountants and bankers for help and support. The problem is most of them do not really understand the problems and challenges faced by smaller businesses. LEXSHA is different because the support is from other like minded business owners and entrepreneurs.
Get Involved with LEXSHA
To mark the March launch, Exponential Training is looking for 12 small businesses to join the first LEXSHA Networking Group to be set up in the UK. The lucky dozen will be able to access a range of videos, e-books, presentations, tools and top tips as well as taking part in a series of group sessions with my team and I.
