Last month, the LEAP partners saw the prototype – Learn Engage Apply and Perform e-portfolio – or LEAP for short – for the first time. Within minutes of being issued with log-in details, Exponential Training team members were exploring and using LEAP.
The First LEAP Courses
Now that the structure of LEAP has been developed, the next task for the six-strong LEAP project partnership is to design and upload the courses and units onto the LEAP portal ready for learners.
Each LEAP project partner is working on a distinct set of courses – Exponential Training is working on courses in management and leadership, coaching and mentoring and professional consulting. Exponential Project Officer, Ellie Moore, has already uploaded over 100 units as part of the following Chartered Management Institute qualifications which will be delivered using the new LEAP platform before the end of the year. The following qualifications will soon be delivered via LEAP:
· Certificate and Diploma Level 3 First Line Management
· Certificate and Diploma Level 5 Management and Leadership
· Certificate and Diploma Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership
· Certificate and Diploma Level 3 Coaching and Mentoring
· Certificate and Diploma Level 5 Management Coaching and Mentoring
· Certificate and Diploma Level 7 Leadership Coaching and Mentoring
· Certificate and Diploma Level 5 Professional Consulting
· Certificate and Diploma Level 7 Professional Consulting
Exponential Training Managing Director, John Moore said:

LEAP is just one element of Exponential’s on-going digital transformation plans. Alongside LEAP, the Exponential team has recently implemented a new on-line 360-degree assessment tool called TeamMate360. Later this year, Exponential will be launching its new on-line learning portal ManagementDirect developed in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute. Importantly, all three portals benefit from single sign-on enabling learners to move from one portal to another without needing to keep logging in.
Although Exponential started its digital transformation in 2014, Erasmus+ projects such as LEAP, Teammate360 and DiTEM are helping to drive its plans forward. DiTEM, for example, is about the digital transformation of enterprises and provides a practical insight into the strategies, tools and processes that enterprises can use to exploit the benefits of digital technology to improve performance and productivity.
