A Delegation of High Growth Coaches are Joining the BizLearn.Net Project Team to Help with the Development of the New Online Platform for Entrepreneurs.
BizLearn.Net is a new and innovative system designed to increase the participation of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in lifelong learning. The platform aims to enable entrepreneurs to share and exchange ideas and best practice to help each other to develop their businesses. The concept was developed by German based August Horch Akademie. The BizLearn.Net project is cooperation between EU countries and will result in the creation of an innovative learning platform for entrepreneurs throughout Europe.
“The project is at a critical stage”, explained Exponential Director, John Moore. “The insight and understanding of the needs of SMEs will mean that the UK delegation will help to shape the development of the learning platform making it a real practical added value tool for small business owners. The UK team includes High Growth Coaches Sandra Pollock, John Collins and Stephen Couchman.”
With Europe still struggling to come to terms with the economic crisis, more and more emphasis is being placed on the role of SMEs in creating growth and employment. “As my colleague Kenneth Sundin from SMEbox pointed out, if every SME in Europe could each employ just one more person, there would be no unemployment. Now clearly, there are lots of small businesses which are what I call ‘lifestyle’ businesses, but there is an untapped army of ambitious entrepreneurs throughout Europe desperate to grow their business – these are the businesses we need to reach, engage and support.”
Later this year, the Bizlearn.net team will be looking for business coaches and entrepreneurs to pilot the new learning platform before up finalising plans to upscale it to a fully functioning European-wide resource for any SME.
