Work-based Learning Technology
Despite the shadow of BREXIT, business must go on and businesses must look to the future. For many enterprises, the use of digital technology and the ever-continuing growth of global markets is creating new opportunities. One of the consequences of technology is the increase in the numbers working remotely which is creating new challenges for managers who need to manage remote team members and virtual teams.
Recognising both the opportunities and the challenges, Exponential Training has invested in developing a new set of digital learning tools – TeamMate 360 and LEAP. During the conference , the Exponential team and guest speakers took a look at how leadership and management is changing and how work-based learning technology is helping organisations to upskill managers and impacting on bottom-line performance.
The key note address, ‘The Remote Manager’ by Exponential Managing Director, John Moore, showcase the results of a European-wide assessment study using the new TeamMate 360 assessment tool. Delegates received a copy of the ‘TeamMate 360 European Benchmarking Report’, as well as 10 complimentary Teammate 360 assessments for use in their own organisations.
Teammate 360, is an on-line 360-degree skill assessment tool. It is used to assesses the skills of managers who manage remote team members such as homeworkers, sales executives, and field-based personnel. Teammate 360 was developed as part of a 30-month Erasmus+ project involving seven European partners the UK, Romania, Ireland, Spain, Bulgaria, Italy and Greece plus hundreds of managers and remote team workers.
John Moore said, “We are excited about the success and impact of TeamMate 360 during the pilot testing. We are looking forward to making TeamMate 360 available in more languages – currently it is available in English, Romanian, Spanish, Italian and Bulgarian.

Now they can be completed totally on-line thereby minimising time away for the workplace, but they enable one-to-one performance coaching without needing to leave the workplace.”
Other speakers at this lively and interactive conference include a representative Brett Sadler from the UK Leadership Academy. Brett’s organisation aims to transform individuals and organisations enabling them to achieve their highest future potential. During his presentation, Brett explored the need for leaders to embrace change, uncertainty and technology to transform their performance and to create ‘exponential’ growth.
