Anne-Marie Daly is a performance Coach with Exponential Training. She coaches managers, coaches and consultants looking to develop and grow by completing one of Exponential Training’s professional qualifications in management and leadership, coaching and mentoring and consulting. So why did Anne-Marie want to get involved in the DiTEM Erasmus+ project?

Anne-Marie has coached thousands of managers, coaches and consultants over the past fourteen years with Exponential Training.  She commented:

“One thing they all have in common is the desired to improve their performance. Although technology is not one of Exponential Training’s specialist areas, I am increasingly having to help my learners to understand how to use digital technology – DiTEM has helped me to understand more about business uses of digital technology”.

The Exponential Training team found that working on the development of the e-learning modules and designing the self-assessment exercise made Exponential’s directors look at the opportunities for further digitalisation of the company and its processes.

Anne-Marie added:

“It (the DiTEM project) has been a learning and development process for the whole company and not just the people who completed the modules. For me, it has also made me more aware of the opportunities for digitalising business processes. I now ask my students about their innovation and transformation plans, especially digitalisation when coaching them on units relating to organisation change and innovation – I also make more suggestions about how they can use digital tools to improve their own and their team’s performance.

In the spirit of the DiTEM project, Exponential Training has embraced further digitalisation of its products and services. The Company has introduced ManagementDirect for our studentsManagementDirect is an on-line learning management system which contains unit-based ‘Learning Journeys’ directly linked to the assessment criteria of the qualifications.

Anne-Marie said:

“Exponential Training has also invested in a new assessment and communication platform called LEAP. LEAP s short for ‘Learn, Engage, Apply and Perform’. It directly links students to their coach and assessment enabling them to upload assignments and receive feedback, up-dates and messages from their coaches and assessors. It includes moderation tools enabling moderators to evaluate the work processes and quality of assessment and to ensure quality standards are maintained and improved across all coaches and qualifications. Towards the end of 2019, Management Direct and LEAP will be accessible via a single sign-in making the use of the two systems seamless”.

Finally, Exponential Training also commissioned an external digital marketing agency to run a digital advertising campaign using Google Ads which also linked into the company’s newly introduced cloud-based marketing platform – Infusionsoft. This exercise saw a 200 per cent increase in on-line sales enquiries and 150 per cent increase in like for like sales over last year.
