From January 2017, anyone registering for a Level 5 or 7 Diploma in management and leadership, professional consulting or coaching and mentoring will automatically be assessed to gain recognition as a Chartered Manager.

Exponential is always looking for ways to add value for our customers. Throughout 2016, more and more managers, coaches and consultants asked Exponential Training about becoming a Chartered Manager. Following a proposal from Exponential Performance Coach, Anne-Marie Daly, we have decided to integrate the Chartered Manager assessment into assessment for our level 5 and 7 diploma qualifications.


Anne-Marie said, “The quality of the assignments and level of performance I see from the managers, coaches and consultants that I coach is usually of a very high standard. I think if they are performing at the level of a Chartered Manager then they should get the recognition they deserve. I know from the feedback I have received on this idea, especially as there is a single assessment process and fee for both, that we will see a significant increase in the number of Chartered Managers in 2017.”


Why is the Chartered Manager status important?


It is no secret that productivity in the UK lags behind many countries – last year, the UK was named as the least productive nation in the G7 (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States). Much of the UK’s weakness rests with the people in leadership positions. Chartered Managers can play a key part in transforming the UK’s performance. Research shows that  Chartered Managers averaged added value of £391,443 to their organisation. “Imagine the impact on the economy if this level of performance could be leveraged on a much wider scale – that is one of Exponential’s goals for 2017″ added Anne-Marie.
