No. As the course is delivered online via distance learning delivery method there is no requirement for you to attend any physical workshops or to meet with your personal tutor/ assessor face-to-face. However, you are always welcome to visit our offices to meet with your personal tutor/ assessor, if you prefer.

Our qualification programmes are achieved through the writing of an assignment for each unit of the qualification. Learners will have the option to submit a draft of their assignment, which will be assessed and for which feedback will be provided on possible/necessary improvements.

Our National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) differ as they are achieved through the writing of short assignments supported by work based evidence.

Yes. Once you have successfully completed the qualification programme you will receive a formal qualification certificate from the professional awarding body.

Can I complete qualifications progressively?

Yes. Our qualification programmes are available at three different levels; Award, Certificate & Diploma. They can be completed either progressively (Award to Certificate, Certificate to Diploma) or you can go straight into the Certificate or the Diploma programme, if preferred. When completing progressively you will receive a discounted programme fee, including a reduced registration fee, to top-up to the next level.

Whilst it is more cost effective to go straight into the full Diploma the Award is a good option for those looking for an introductory level qualification in a specific topic area. The Certificate is a more popular option for those looking to gain a broader knowledge whilst completing in a relative short space of time (usually between 6 - 16 weeks).

Is there a recommended reading list?

Yes. We have put together a recommended reading list for each qualification programme (excluding NVQs in Management). You will find this list with links to Amazon on each of the respective qualification pages on our website.
